The idea

L.E.O. is a recreational vehicle that can drive sideways due to the all-wheel steering and can simulate drifting on different surfaces. 

Physical part: The vehicle drives real on a flat asphalt/concrete surface (car park or hall).

Emotional part: The different virtual surfaces are simulated by acting on the steering, accelerator and brake. Vibrations at the seat and the additional steering rear wheels intensify the feeling of drifting. The virtual environment and the course of the track are played in via the driver's goggles.

Safety: The virtual, variable track layout, distance sensors and position detection prevent physical collisions. Virtual accidents nevertheless have an impact on driving behaviour.
