MANTIS
The MANTIS concept is based on the idea that the vehicle can be leaned despite having two wide rear tyres that are always vertical in order to achieve a maximum contact surface. The dynamics and driving feel of a motorbike with the safety of a sports car to bring the sheer performance to the asphalt is the fascinating character that this concept is intended to express.
The concept is powered by a V8 engine, which supplies the electric motors on all three wheels. This type of drive gives the concept unusual performance in this vehicle category and gives the driver incredible driving sensations.
The hub center steering combined with the independent wheel suspension at the rear provides a responsive and precise handling. The leaning movement is made possible by the swivel joint at the rear in front of the independent suspension unit.
